"Screw you both!" BUAHAHAHAHA! That brief bit of selfishness marring his otherwise boy-scoutish exterior reminds you that yes, he was part of stealing two million dollars.

Though her tactic of saying, "Oh, sure, put me in the same bed as Ranger" is exactly the way to get him to go "..." with his mouth hanging open, then going, "Oh, fine. I'll room with Ranger. You can have the single to yourself." "Oh, no, I want the queen-sized bed. You two can share the bunkbeds in the single." "No way, that's not fair!" "Oh, you want to sleep in the same bed as Ranger? I never knew you were that way..." "No, I d-didn't mean..." "Oh, you want to share the bed with Meeeee?" *eyeflutter* *flustercough* "Um... Ah... I... that is..."

Ranger: *turns to platypus lady* "Do you have any popcorn? This is great!"

Yay! I'm in-character! I like to pride myself on being able to do that.

But if you don't do it the way I expect I'm going to write angry posts about how you've lost your vision and are rewriting history, and ...

Eh, nevermind, that's too much work. I'll just have to enjoy whatever you do instead.

Also, ranger is British right? So when he said they were there about the rooms to let, how did tanipus know they were americans? Hmmm? *confused*

Ranger's British-born but he's spent half his life in the States; more than long enough for him to have picked up the accent. He basically sounds American with a very faint British accent (and he plays up the American). To an Australian, it's the American aspect of his voice that stands out. :3 (I think I wrote this in the comments last time, too).

If I'd been smarter about it, I'd have had Kiya or Darrell deliver that line to save on explanation time. 9_9;;;

Ah got it. I figured as much, as a mild british accent can get lost in an American one, especially to non-American's. I've started picking up small Aussie mannerisms in my speech as well, which pleases me. I can't wait for a few years down the line when people stop asking me if I'm from "Canada" and I don't have to get shitty looks when I show my US passport. >.<;

To be fair - how many people recognize platypus when they see them, other than saying, "Uh... it's a squat little four-legger with a bill... I guess it must be a platypus." And when the body-type is identical to that of a duck, as it is for the anthromorphs, it's less obvious that this is something other than what you're used to that has a bill.

He didn't notice the tail. ;) A lot of people online see Tanipus and think she's a duck, so that's a little in-joke. :)

Ok...the scene with Darell yelling, "Screw you both, I want my own room!" had me rolling. I don't know why...it just amuses me to no end xD Perhaps it's a mixture of the expression and the text...who knows *snicker*

Now the question is...

I'm a little late...okay, a lot late on this one, but I just found the comic. (It's great, by the way :D)

Two questions:

1: The platypus lady shows that she has no feathers, but her skin and hands look just the same as the duck trio's do! Wuh?

2: If they knew they were going to Australia, why did Darrell wear a turtleneck and black gloves, of all things?

Those probably seem like silly questions, but I wanted to ask. :)

Not silly questions at all! And I'm glad you like the comic! :)

1. She's got brown fur rather than feathers. As to why the fur looks just like the feathers, well, I could have drawn in every feather or every strand of fur, but that would've just looked odd. You'll have to take her word for it. ;)

2. There's a very good reason Darrell dresses like that. Keep reading, and all will be revealed. :)
